Ticket Policies:
Tickets
Tickets for Theater of the American South plays, cooking demonstrations,
garden party, and magnolia lecture are available online, by phone at (252) 291-4329 x10, or in
person at the Arts Council of Wilson box office located at 124 Nash Street SW, Wilson, NC.
Seating
for the plays, cooking demonstrations, and magnolia lecture is general
admission. Please plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes early so you have
time to find a seat before the show, demonstration, or lecture begins.
Ticket prices for Theater of the American South plays are $20, $18 for seniors (age 60 and above), and students.
All plays are presented at the Boykin Cultural Center, 108 Nash Street NE, Wilson, NC.
Ticket prices for Theater
of the American South cooking demonstrations are $10 for the mid-day
demonstrations at Imagination Station and $20 for the late afternoon
demonstrations in a private home.
The ticket price
for garden party is $25. The ticket price for the magnolia lecture, which
includes lunch, is $10.
This season Theater of the American South will be offering a Season Passport Ticket covering all events
(including all plays and cooking demonstrations and the magnolia
lecture, but excluding the garden party) throughout the festival for a price of $100 and a Weekly
Passport Ticket covering all events (including all plays and cooking demonstrations or
the magnolia lecture, as applicable, but excluding the garden party) during a
specified week of the festival (May 15-18, May 22-25,
or May 29-June 1) for a price of $50.
Passport Ticket holders are entitled to attend one performance of each play during
the 2008 season or the selected week, as the case may be.
The garden party may be added to any Passport Ticket for $20, a
discount of $5 off of the standard rate.
Performance Start Times
We strive to begin each performance at the scheduled time. Please plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes early so you have time to pick up your tickets and find a seat before the show starts. All tickets are general admission.
Refunds and Exchanges
Tickets for festival plays are non-refundable. Tickets for one play can be exchanged for
any other performance of the same play up to 24 hours before the performance time of the
purchased ticket by calling (252) 291-4329 x10. Some restrictions may apply in the case
of sold out performances. Tickets purchased for one play cannot be exchanged for performances of any other play.
Tickets for the garden party and magnolia lecture are non-refundable.
Tickets for festival cooking demonstrations are non-refundable. Tickets for a morning demonstration can be exchanged for any other morning demonstration, and tickets for an afternoon demonstration can be exchanged for any other afternoon demonstration. Exchanges can be made by calling (252) 291-4329 x10 up to 24 hours before the demonstration time of the purchased ticket. Some restrictions may apply in the case of sold out demonstrations. When calling, please indicate your confirmation number, original performance or demonstration date, and requested performance or demonstration date.
Tickets purchased online are transferrable, but tickets cannot be resold.
Box Office Closure
Please make all online reservations by noon for an evening performance that same day or by 6 pm for a matinee performance the following day. Reservations made online cannot be guaranteed after this time. We do set aside a number of tickets for walk-ins, but cannot guarantee seats for anyone without a confirmed reservation.
Please make all online reservations by 3 pm for a cooking demonstration the following day.
Service Fee
At this time, PDXTix and Theater of the American South charge a $1.50 per-ticket service fee for all online ticket sales.
Changes to policy
Theater of the American South and PDXTix.com reserve the right to change any ticket policies at any time without notice.
